An “EYBL” iteration of Ja Morant’s Ja 1 signature sneaker has surfaced. Not familiar with “EYBL”? Short for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, this is a basketball circuit for teams of players aged 17 and under. Each year Nike drops an EYBL collection that includes some of their signature sneakers from their basketball division. This year the collection will include the Nike Ja 1. The Nike Ja 1 EYBL gets covered in a Melon Tint mesh upper with Rush Fuchsia, Black, and Jade Ice accents throughout the shoe including on the Nike and Ja branding, midsoles, and outsoles. Finishing details include colorful graphic heels, speckle detailing on the heels of the midsole, mismatched embroidered “12” on the heels, and “EYBL” branding on the lateral ankles.
