The Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico Orange Frost celebrate this year’s Puerto Rico Day, which takes place during June in the U.S. along Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan borough of New York City. The Orange Frost iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico pays homage to the Puerto Rican frozen treats (helados) known as “piraguas” that come in flavors such as coconut, passionfruit and pineapple. Done in an official color scheme listed as Orange Frost/Citron Pulse-Coconut Milk, this Air Max 1 is constructed in a mix of textile, leather, and suede. Key features include the Jewel Swooshes on the side panels, the Gold Puerto Rico lace dubraes, the unique Nike ice cream tongue labels, and the “Puerto Rico” text embroidered on the right heel. Special packaging that include a custom towel to further celebrate Puerto Rico Day will also be included in the release. The Nike by Stüssy Air Max 2013 "Black" model is the next step in the more than two decades-long collaboration between Stussy and Nike. The shape of the footwear combines Hyperfuse and Flywire technologies, which are great for stabilizing the foot. The airy mesh upper is set on a highly flexible outsole with Air Max system. Stussy designers introduced their branding just below the laces eyelets, making it blend perfectly with the whole. A very interesting treatment is the inverted Swoosh. The larger version is on the outside, while the smaller one is on the inside.
This Motiva is highlighted by a bright white midsole and a black rubber outsole which features a special rocker design that helps propel the wearer forward and a uniquely patterned Comfortgroove outsole. The shoe’s textile upper is in simple black. TPU signature profile Swooshes glide across both the medial and lateral side walls. A soft foam waterfall collar in black provides added comfort and a sock-like fit and a frictionless inner sleeve reduces rubbing during exercise. Covered in a full olive canvas construction all over the upper, this Nike Air Force 1 Low with tonal detailing seen on the midsole. Previewed below, the 2023 iteration of the Nike Air Force 1 Low Halloween comes dressed in an all-Black upper that is constructed out of a mix of tumbled leather on the underlays and quarter panels with snakeskin details. More of the same faux reptile texture can be found on the eyestay, toe, heel, and Swoosh overlays. The all-Black aesthetic is then met with Orange Nike branding on the tongue tags, Metallic Silver jack-o-lantern lace dubraes and custom insoles portraying a dark eerie forest with Swoosh-carved pumpkins. A Black midsole and Neon Green semi-translucent outsole round out the main features of the sneaker.
Leo Baker‘s first debuted Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.53%) SB signature shoe earlier this year. Announcing that it would be arriving in 2023 in a variety of colorways, the Nike SB React Leo is slated to release in “Cacao Wow.” For his first signature shoe, Baker took inspiration from his favorite SBs, specifically the SB Bruin High, for its design process. The shoe comes dressed in cacao wow, black, earth and gum dark brown color schemes and sees the shoe constructed in a mixture of materials that include leather, suede and mesh. The shoe’s brown base covers the entirety of the upper while black highlights the leather Swoosh on the lateral, laces, inner lining and tongue branding. A monogram all-over “Leo” print is seen on the side panels, as well as the tongue labels and insoles. The shoe sits on a black, speckled midsole that sits atop a gum dark brown rubber outsole to round out the design.
Nike’s running silhouette inspired by London’s music scene and brutalist architecture, the Air Max Pulse, dons minimalist black and grey with a touch of red. Just recently introduced last March, the shoe was endorsed by London musicians, Nia Archives and Jeshi. Meet the Nike Air Max Pulse “Black Cool Grey”. This Air Max Pulse has a tight mesh base in grey from heel to toe. 3D signature profile Swooshes stand out on the medial and lateral mid-panels in white. Synthetic overlays wrap around the bottom of the shoe and partially cover the main Swooshes. A small metallic silver Swoosh sits on the lateral midfoot, right below the partially tucked main Swoosh. A black and grey foam midsole with an exposed Air unit encased in red and a black and translucent red waffle outsole wrap up the design of this sneaker.
