Fear of God first announced their partnership with adidas several years ago, but other than a slim apparel collection, nothing has released quite yet. However, after a runway show in April that gave us our first look at some of the footwear coming our way, more and more styles have slowly emerged. This week, we got an early look at the Fear of God take on adidas’ Forum 86 Low, which reimagines the silhouette in a new minimal look. Featuring a brand new, single piece chunky midsole, the upper is constructed from a uniform light grey tone, reducing the amount of visible stitching throughout the toes and heels. Thick rope laces held together by a toggle complete the look.

An “EYBL” iteration of Ja Morant’s Ja 1 signature sneaker has surfaced. Not familiar with “EYBL”? Short for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, this is a basketball circuit for teams of players aged 17 and under. Each year Nike drops an EYBL collection that includes some of their signature sneakers from their basketball division. This year the collection will include the Nike Ja 1. The Nike Ja 1 EYBL gets covered in a Melon Tint mesh upper with Rush Fuchsia, Black, and Jade Ice accents throughout the shoe including on the Nike and Ja branding, midsoles, and outsoles. Finishing details include colorful graphic heels, speckle detailing on the heels of the midsole, mismatched embroidered “12” on the heels, and “EYBL” branding on the lateral ankles.

A nod to free-spirited expression, the Fall/Winter 2023 collection from adidas and Wales Bonner enlivens archival football silhouettes with technical refinement and an essence of elegance. The Samba Nylon Low Trainers celebrate the original design of the iconic Samba shoes with an expressive twist. Mixing in a nylon upper, they showcase the hallmark 3-Stripes and overlays that define the legacy look.

Nike’s running silhouette inspired by London’s music scene and brutalist architecture, the Air Max Pulse, dons minimalist black and grey with a touch of red. Just recently introduced last March, the shoe was endorsed by London musicians, Nia Archives and Jeshi. Meet the Nike Air Max Pulse “Black Cool Grey”. Continuing their long term collaborations, footwear specialists New Balance reunite with technical experts Stone Island for a new sneaker that embodies their dedication to the craft at the core of both brands. These Concept 1 sneakers - MSRCXST - are made with the FuelCell C_1 colourway that’s an archived camouflage pattern from Stone Islands archives. The uppers reflect Stone Islands history as a brand with the combination of synthetic and natural materials to create a knit upper that’s made for forward thinkers. The Moche motif has landed on the New Balance 1906R. Slated to be one of New Balance’s Holiday 2023 drops, here is a detailed look at the New Balance 1906R Mocha. Done in Cream, Tan and Brown hues, the New Balance 1906R Mocha is constructed out of mesh and leather materials alongside the model’s signature TPU heel counter. Other design details include the “N” logo branding on the side panels, the heel pull tabs and a sole consisting of an updated ACTEVA LITE midsole and N-ergy shock-absorbing outsole.

The late Kobe Bryant’s “Italian Camo” Kobe 6 has recently surfaced via in-hand photography. An exact Nike SNKRS release date hasn’t been disclosed by either the Swoosh or Kobe Bryant Estate, but that’s likely to change in the first quarter of 2024.

Leo Baker‘s first debuted Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.53%) SB signature shoe earlier this year. Announcing that it would be arriving in 2023 in a variety of colorways, the Nike SB React Leo is slated to release in “Cacao Wow.” For his first signature shoe, Baker took inspiration from his favorite SBs, specifically the SB Bruin High, for its design process. The shoe comes dressed in cacao wow, black, earth and gum dark brown color schemes and sees the shoe constructed in a mixture of materials that include leather, suede and mesh. The shoe’s brown base covers the entirety of the upper while black highlights the leather Swoosh on the lateral, laces, inner lining and tongue branding. A monogram all-over “Leo” print is seen on the side panels, as well as the tongue labels and insoles. The shoe sits on a black, speckled midsole that sits atop a gum dark brown rubber outsole to round out the design.

The Nike by Stüssy Air Max 2013 "Black" model is the next step in the more than two decades-long collaboration between Stussy and Nike. The shape of the footwear combines Hyperfuse and Flywire technologies, which are great for stabilizing the foot. The airy mesh upper is set on a highly flexible outsole with Air Max system. The Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico Orange Frost celebrate this year’s Puerto Rico Day, which takes place during June in the U.S. along Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan borough of New York City. Although the Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” and Air Max Pulse headlining the Air Max Day releases in March, Nike’s most innovative Air Max drop might be coming next month. That would be debut of the Vapormax 2023 Flyknit, the next iteration of the franchise that debuted back in 2017. Tweaking and refining the model ever so slightly, Nike’s latest delivery of the Vapormax Flyknit family sees a newly engineered knit upper with embedded cables that lock down the lace loops. The Vapormax cushioning unit is carried over from the 2021 model, although the midsole that scoops upwards is slightly retooled. The real change is clearly the aforementioned knit upper. which also makes use of that “unfinished” aesthetic by way of the exposed sponge innards at the ankle.
