An “EYBL” iteration of Ja Morant’s Ja 1 signature sneaker has surfaced. Not familiar with “EYBL”? Short for the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League, this is a basketball circuit for teams of players aged 17 and under. Each year Nike drops an EYBL collection that includes some of their signature sneakers from their basketball division. This year the collection will include the Nike Ja 1. The Nike Ja 1 EYBL gets covered in a Melon Tint mesh upper with Rush Fuchsia, Black, and Jade Ice accents throughout the shoe including on the Nike and Ja branding, midsoles, and outsoles. Finishing details include colorful graphic heels, speckle detailing on the heels of the midsole, mismatched embroidered “12” on the heels, and “EYBL” branding on the lateral ankles.
Nike’s running silhouette inspired by London’s music scene and brutalist architecture, the Air Max Pulse, dons minimalist black and grey with a touch of red. Just recently introduced last March, the shoe was endorsed by London musicians, Nia Archives and Jeshi. Meet the Nike Air Max Pulse “Black Cool Grey”. This Air Max Pulse has a tight mesh base in grey from heel to toe. 3D signature profile Swooshes stand out on the medial and lateral mid-panels in white. Leo Baker‘s first debuted Nike (NYSE:NKE -1.53%) SB signature shoe earlier this year. Announcing that it would be arriving in 2023 in a variety of colorways, the Nike SB React Leo is slated to release in “Cacao Wow.” For his first signature shoe, Baker took inspiration from his favorite SBs, specifically the SB Bruin High, for its design process. The shoe comes dressed in cacao wow, black, earth and gum dark brown color schemes and sees the shoe constructed in a mixture of materials that include leather, suede and mesh. The shoe’s brown base covers the entirety of the upper while black highlights the leather Swoosh on the lateral, laces, inner lining and tongue branding. A monogram all-over “Leo” print is seen on the side panels, as well as the tongue labels and insoles. The shoe sits on a black, speckled midsole that sits atop a gum dark brown rubber outsole to round out the design.

The Nike by Stüssy Air Max 2013 "Black" model is the next step in the more than two decades-long collaboration between Stussy and Nike. The shape of the footwear combines Hyperfuse and Flywire technologies, which are great for stabilizing the foot. The airy mesh upper is set on a highly flexible outsole with Air Max system. Stussy designers introduced their branding just below the laces eyelets, making it blend perfectly with the whole. A very interesting treatment is the inverted Swoosh. The larger version is on the outside, while the smaller one is on the inside.

The Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico Orange Frost celebrate this year’s Puerto Rico Day, which takes place during June in the U.S. along Fifth Avenue in the Manhattan borough of New York City. The Orange Frost iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico pays homage to the Puerto Rican frozen treats (helados) known as “piraguas” that come in flavors such as coconut, passionfruit and pineapple. Done in an official color scheme listed as Orange Frost/Citron Pulse-Coconut Milk, this Air Max 1 is constructed in a mix of textile, leather, and suede. Key features include the Jewel Swooshes on the side panels, the Gold Puerto Rico lace dubraes, the unique Nike ice cream tongue labels, and the “Puerto Rico” text embroidered on the right heel. Special packaging that include a custom towel to further celebrate Puerto Rico Day will also be included in the release. Although the Air Max 1 “Big Bubble” and Air Max Pulse headlining the Air Max Day releases in March, Nike’s most innovative Air Max drop might be coming next month. That would be debut of the Vapormax 2023 Flyknit, the next iteration of the franchise that debuted back in 2017. Tweaking and refining the model ever so slightly, Nike’s latest delivery of the Vapormax Flyknit family sees a newly engineered knit upper with embedded cables that lock down the lace loops. The Vapormax cushioning unit is carried over from the 2021 model, although the midsole that scoops upwards is slightly retooled. The real change is clearly the aforementioned knit upper. which also makes use of that “unfinished” aesthetic by way of the exposed sponge innards at the ankle.

Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies are ready for the 2022-23 NBA Playoffs. As the second seed in the West, a lot of expectations have been placed on the team, just as they have been on the Nike Ja 1. Unveiled to the world on December 25, 2022 during a game against the Golden State Warriors, Morant’s first signature shoe quickly became one of the most anticipated debuts in recent history. The shoe launches at retailers on April 19, with follow-up styles having surfaced via unofficial and official channels throughout the last few months. The latest arrives in the form of a kid’s pair clad in “White,” “Sundial,” and “Cobalt Bliss.” A camouflage-reminiscent pattern lands on the quarter panels, while the outsole features a paint streak-like finish. The Nike Air Max 98 TL Supreme Brown low-top sneakers are another sneaker from the collaboration between Supreme and Nike. Their first joint product was released back in 2002, and since then many silhouettes have been created in which this American skateboarding brand has participated.
This time around, the Air Force 1 Low has been equipped with a new woven upper panel at the midfoot. It appears as tonal detailing, matching the rest of the upper’s eggshell white finish. Its accompanying panels feature a leather finish while the Swooshes appear in suede. The heel tab similarly dons suede with thematic embroidery and weaving. Elsewhere, the tongue carries a thinner weave throughout its build, the lining appears in a “Vachetta Tan”-esque color and a gum sole supports a white midsole.
